Dental implants are continuing to revolutionise the way we solve the problem of losing teeth!

February 2, 2018

No longer do patients need to put up with loose or annoying dentures, and the adjacent teeth don’t have to be compromised to make a bridge. It gives me great satisfaction to see patients returning year after year, following dental implant treatment, commenting how much it has helped them. They’ve been able to enjoy their food more and have confidence in their smiles again. The most significant benefits I’ve seen however, are to those patients with no teeth left at all, whereby as few as two implants can provide support to a denture, which can quite simply be life changing.

2017 was a busy year for dental implants for me. I managed to complete my Masters in Dental Implantology with a Distinction! It was the culmination of several years of hard work and research, building on the knowledge I already had from previous courses and experience with dental implants. Near the end of last year, I also completed another course in advanced bone grafting techniques, which should allow me to help more patients, including those that have previously been told they may not be able to have implants due to a lack of bone.

I am hoping 2018 will be a big year for us as well as we intend to start taking on referrals for implant treatment from other local dentists who don’t place implants themselves. It is a very privileged position when not only patients, but fellow professionals see the quality in my work which allows them to trust me to help care for their patients.

So, if 2018 is to be the year you consider dental implants give us a call or e -mail.
The initial appointment to find out more is free of charge.
