Denplan – helping to make first class dentistry more affordable

At Lindley Dental we understand that many of our patients appreciate the chance to split the cost of dental care into convenient monthly payment. We work with Denplan to make this possible.

Adults can chose from 2 different schemes;

Denplan Care

Denplan Care is a monthly payment plan which helps you pay for your regular check and hygiene visits as well as restorative dental treatment. You have that piece of mind that you have comprehensive cover.

The amount you pay is decided by your dentist and is based on your oral health and how much dental treatment you are likely to need. After an initial assessment by the dentist of your oral health, you will be placed into one of five categories.

Our Denplan Care prices all include optional worldwide dental emergency and injury insurance cover. If you choose not to take out this optional insurance the monthly fee is reduced by 60p.

Included:

• Health checks
• Hygiene treatment
• Dental x-rays
• Necessary fillings
• Preventive dental advice and therapy
• Any necessary extractions
• Periodontal (gum) treatment
• Crowns, bridges, dentures, inlays (excluding laboratory fees)
• Root canal treatment

Denplan Care does not cover:

• Laboratory fees and prescriptions
• Any treatment excluded by the dentist in your contract which is payable by you at the private fee rates
• Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
• Treatment carried out anywhere other than by your registered dentist
• Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment
• Sedation fees

Denplan Essentials

Denplan Essentials is a dental plan which helps you budget for your regular preventive dental care. Seeing your dentist regularly is important as it can help you avoid having to undergo costly, restorative treatments. The dental plan is easy to set up and no pre-assessment is necessary. Your dentist will advise how often you should visit us for and check and or hygiene visit to best look after your oral health.

 Included:

• Check-ups (up to the maximum detailed in your contract)
• Scaling, polishing and other hygiene treatment (up to the maximum detailed in your Contract)
• Dental x-rays
• Any additional treatment specified as included by the dentist in your contract
• Preventive dental advice
• A 10% discount on any restorative work needed for oral health (not cosmetic work)

Denplan Essentials does not cover:

• Restorative dental treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures (at the discretion of your dentist)
• Laboratory fees and prescriptions
• Any treatment excluded by the dentists in your contract which is payable by you to the dentist
• Referral to a specialist and specialist treatment
• Orthodontics, implants, cosmetic treatment
• Sedation fees

Denplan for Children

Denplan for Children is a flexible payment plan which is ideal for making sure your child gets the best possible dental care from an early age. The category your child is placed in is based on the condition of their oral health and the amount of treatment they will need. The dental plan focuses on preventive care by providing you with an easy and economical way to pay for your child to have regular dental check-ups. This is fundamental if the early signs of tooth decay or abnormalities are to be picked up and treated quickly. Our Denplan for Children prices all include optional worldwide dental emergency and injury insurance cover. If you choose not to take out this optional insurance the monthly fee is reduced by 60p.

Benefits for parents/guardian

• Gives you the opportunity to ensure your child receives regular dental care and treatment
• Monthly payments make the plan economical by spreading the cost evenly throughout the year

There are two levels according to your child’s needs. All treatment needed to secure oral health is included.

Cover following dental injury or dental emergency

We would advise that you take out Denplan’s Supplementary Insurance. This provides you with worldwide dental injury and dental emergency cover and assess to Denplan’s 24-hour Worldwide Dental Emergency Helpline.

Denplan Care Monthly Fees

Excludes lab fees for crown/bridge/denture work. You DO need to be denally fit to join Denplan Care

Denplan Essentials

Treatment is payable on top of the monthly fee, but you do get 10% off the cost of the treatment and you can still benefit from all the insurance elements of Denplan. You DON’T need to be dentally fit to join Essentials.

Denplan for Kids

Any treatment necessary is also included in the plan.
