I am doing Dry January again. I find it a good way to lose a bit of post-Christmas weight and reset my alcohol intake. As a wine drinker it’s very easy for it to creep up through the year! So far, I am not finding it that difficult and am finding I am sleeping better as a result.
We have lots planned in the practice for 2019. We have some building work starting later this month. This should enhance our consultation /oral health education area. Also, we are extending our attic, to improve some of the behind the scenes areas like storage and staff changing. As always, we have plenty of staff training lined up, including our full team Denplan training day in February.
We hope to welcome more children this year onto our Denplan for Children plan so they can benefit from preventative care.
What are your plans or resolutions this year?
If you are hoping to have a better smile, we would be delighted to help you. Many of our treatments can enhance your appearance. My colleague Haider does adult braces, it’s never too late to get your teeth straightened. Both Stan and Karl offer dental implants to restore gaps or stabilise loose dentures.
As always, our hygiene team are on hand to help, cleaning away stains, helping you with good brushing technique or with some tooth whitening.
So, I hope 2019 gives you plenty to smile about!
Best wishes
Sharon Jardine
