Looking after your teeth and gums
At Lindley Dental Centre we always take time to explain how you can help yourself by developing a good oral health regime. We’re happy to advise on dental products, brushing techniques and other ways in which you can care for your teeth and gums. This aspect of our work is in some respects the most important thing that we can do for you.
Busy Brusher’s Club
It’s never too early to start teaching children how to care for their teeth and gums. Run by qualified oral health educators Jessica Gentle and Jackie Smith, Lindley Dental Centre’s Busy Brusher’s Club is open to all children registered with us. The Club’s goals are to help children of all ages to improve their tooth brushing skills and learn how to maintain a healthy smile. We teach them the three basic principles of good dental health care:
- To brush their teeth after breakfast and before bed every day
- To have a healthy diet with restricted safe snacks between meals
- To visit the dentist regularly
Your children can visit the Club at the same time as their regular appointment or as a separate visit. Our receptionists will be pleased to let you know when appointments are available.
Here is a testimonial from one of our patients, read more.
More pleased than I can say, not only have cured my terror of dentists, but my smile hasn’t looked better for 40 years – or been healthier
