What’s the news…
Hello and welcome to our September newsletter. So how was your summer?
Although I don’t like to see the night’s drawing in, I do like September. We still may get some sunny days, and it feels like the start of a new term even though my kids are now long out of school. A time for planning and getting organised after the slower time of summer.
So we are planning the last quarter of the year…
We will be welcoming new dentist Ishaq soon who starts with us on Thursday 12th September.
Ishaq will be working Thursdays, Fridays and 3 Saturdays a month with us. He will be seeing some of Lukman’s patients now Lukman is at the practice less. We hope you will welcome him and we would appreciate any feedback you may have.
Some of the team have nearly finished courses they have been doing, so we will be integrating their new skills into your care. We are organising our team training day for January. (If you can suggest avenue for us, we are looking for a new one to try). We look forward to welcoming you to the practice soon. Enjoy September.
Our Poor Front Garden
You may have noticed that our front garden is not looking that good. A while ago a driver crashed his car into it. Being an insurance claim, it has taken a long time to sort out. We apologise for the appearance and lack of handrail. It should be sorted soon.
Children’s Oral Health Education
We now have both Jess and Jackie Smith our oral health educators back at work, Annalise will soon be qualified, and we have Vicky. We have some sessions available in the October half term, 30th October in the afternoon, 31st October all day and 1st November all day. So, if you think your child could do with their brushing checked or someone to go through good diet with them do ask for an appointment.
We have received some lovely reviews recently
“Really professional service from the start to the end, I cannot thank the practice enough for meeting the needs of my 89 year old Mum, who found going to the dentist challenging. I would recommend this surgery to anyone. A massive thankyou from my heart!”
“Lindley Dental is a brilliant practice. All the staff are extremely professional, kind and helpful. I had a dental problem which was causing me quite a lot of pain. I was given an emergency appointment with a dentist (Dr. Luckman). He was so kind, with a calming manor and put me at ease. He explained in detail what the problem was and how he was going to treat it, giving me lots of welcome reassurance. I would highly recommend this practice. The Denplan scheme is excellent. I used this service once when I was away on holiday and the service was brilliant.”
